The Wood
The wood is the star attraction at Puzzlewood. A walk along the mile of winding pathways will amaze you.
Julian Rix, the The Guardian travel correspondent wrote of Puzzlewood, "all the magic of the Forest of Dean has been concentrated into a 14-acre corner".
This is how the Forest looked thousands of years ago.
To keep the younger members of the group entertained we have "things to look out for" and can also provide nature trail notes.
The Animals
The land surrounding Puzzlewood is a working farm, with Highland Cattle, Minature Shetland Ponies, Donkeys and Wild Fowl.
Indoor maze
The children and young at heart can explore the indoor maze, and try to find the 6 hidden animal symbols.
Tea Room and Gift shop
Serving a selection of hearty snacks, including hot and cold drinks, ice creams, sandwiches, cakes, soup and Crusty bread. Picnic area.
Childrens Play Area
Coming Soon. A place for children to let off a little steam and play with other youngsters. Suitable for ages 4 to 14 years.
We have a large free car park and toilets on site.
The wood contains uneven steps and is therefore not suitable for pushchairs or the less physically able.
